Director & Founder
JAI ANDREWS
Jai founded Ascendance Coaching with a deep belief that thriving as an adolescent or young adult requires more than just academic success. In today’s world, mental wellbeing, meaningful career guidance, and strong mentorship are just as vital as the subjects taught in classrooms. While academic achievement plays a key role, it is only one part of a young person’s development.
Drawing on his background in criminal justice, Jai also holds a strong conviction that early intervention is far more effective than rehabilitation. Providing young people with the right tools, support, and mindset early on can help prevent them from becoming marginalized later in life.
Today, Jai continues to tutor, mentor, and serve as a personal performance coach. While expanding the reach of Ascendance Coaching, he remains deeply connected to the day-to-day work, ensuring the values and mission of the business stay rooted in real-life impact.

Our Team

TALIA
Talia plays a unique and important role within Ascendance Coaching as our Lead Primary Education Coach. She has completed the Ascendance Coaching Diploma L1 and has a deep understanding of how these principles can be applied in the context of Primary Education. Talia also specialises in home schooling, and she brings a warm, creative and structured approach to her sessions.
Talia has a deep understanding of the fact that all of the problems Ascendance clients are even more resonant with younger families. Talia notes that the ever changing landscape of the job market means if the central aim of education is to feed into our current system, there is an even lower chance of this being relevant than for students taking GCSE’s and A Levels.
Talia also understands another facet of the changes in the education system; increased competition. As such, she specialises in helping students get into selective schools and in the 11+ exam.
Talia brings a level of expertise to the company in a market that we will be expanding our influence into in 2025/26

BLUEBELL
Bluebell has been one of our star Ascendance Coaches and has played a strong part in shaping the culture and vision of the company. Her ability to connect with GCSE and A Level students is very powerful, and she received incredibly positive feedback for a lot of her work last year. Additionally, Bluebell has a deep understanding of neurodiversity and specialises in working with students with ADHD.
Bluebell’s academic record is impeccable and she specialises in teaching Psychology and Biology, as well as Geography. She achieved A*s in all these subjects. However she also specialises in helping A Level students with EPQ’s. In 2024/25 she crucially helped a student on course to fail their EPQ to achieve an A.
As Ascendance Coaching expands, Bluebell will be playing a pivotal role in strategic decisions as well as working as a Coach, meaning she has a powerful and thorough understanding of the education system at present as well as the direction it is headed in.
